On October 17, 2026, Elegoo's US store listed the Centauri 2 at $279 (crossed-out price $299) and the Centauri 2 Combo, which adds the 4-color CANVAS unit, at $329 (crossed-out price $379). Elegoo announced both on June 24, 2026 at $299 and $379, with orders open the same day. The enclosed Centauri Carbon 2 was $349, and its Combo $399.

Centauri 2 US prices on October 17, 2026
Elegoo's June 24 release says the series is "featuring open-frame design and multicolor CANVAS system". The plain Centauri 2 is a single-color printer; its product page says "CANVAS sold separately". The Combo's box list includes the CANVAS feeding module, four spool holder modules, a filament hub and a CANVAS mounting bracket. A thermal cover is not in the Combo's box list.

On October 17 the Centauri 2 was $20 (7%) below its launch price and the Combo $50 (13%) below. Our 2026 tracker has shown the $279 and $329 prices since October 11. Bought separately, the printer ($279) and CANVAS without cover ($120) add up to $399, which is $70 more than the Combo.
Elegoo also listed filament bundles. The lowest-priced was the Centauri 2 + 4 kg PLA (Basic Colors) at $329, and the Centauri 2 Combo + 4 kg PLA (Basic Colors) at $379.
Release date and US shipping
The June 24 release gave US prices and said buyers could place orders on Elegoo's official store, with the USA among the shipping destinations. It did not give a ship date. On October 17 both listings were marked available, not pre-order. Elegoo's shipping policy, shown on the product pages, gives 3 to 7 business days for in-stock orders within the US, with free standard shipping on orders of $50 or more to the 48 contiguous states and Washington, D.C. The policy says Elegoo does not ship to Alaska, US territories, P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
Centauri 2 vs Centauri Carbon 2 vs the original Centauri Carbon
The Centauri 2 shares the Centauri Carbon 2's build volume, nozzle and bed temperatures, speed and CANVAS add-on. The differences in Elegoo's own tables are the enclosure, the built-in camera, light and air filter, the recommended materials and the weight. The earlier model in the line is the Centauri Carbon, which Elegoo put on pre-order on February 17, 2025 as "its first Core-XY 3D printer", at $299.99 in the US.

On October 17 the Centauri 2 was $70 below the Centauri Carbon 2, and the Centauri 2 Combo $70 below the Centauri Carbon 2 Combo. The Centauri Carbon 2 Combo's box includes a thermal cover for CANVAS; the Centauri 2 Combo's does not. More detail on the enclosed model is in our Centauri Carbon 2 price record.
On materials, the Centauri 2 Combo's notes add: "TPU filament is natively supported by the Centauri 2." To print TPU on the Combo, the page says to install a Flexible Filament Adapter and disconnect the CANVAS cable.

What we could not confirm
- The date Elegoo's US store lowered the Centauri 2 from $299 to $279 and the Combo from $379 to $329. We found no Elegoo announcement on PR Newswire or on Elegoo's US news blog, and the product pages show no sale end date.
- Whether Elegoo sells the camera, LED light, air filter or exhaust grille expansions for the Centauri 2 in the US. Its specification table calls each an optional expansion, but we found no such listing in the US store's product list on October 17. We also found no Elegoo enclosure listed for the Centauri 2.
- The sensor count. The Centauri 2 page says 15 intelligent sensors, the Combo page says 22, and the June 24 release says "up to 22".
- A current US price for a new original Centauri Carbon. Its US store product data returned "not found" on October 17, and the pre-owned listing was marked sold out.
