Creality K3 US price: $849 on pre-order
Creality's October 13 press release says pre-orders opened "starting at $849 in the United States". On October 17, 2026, the K3 listing on Creality's US store (store.creality.com) had one option, named K3, at $849.00, with Add To Cart and Buy Now buttons. The listing showed no compare-at price and no deposit option.
The press release describes the launch offer this way: "From October 12 through November 30, 2026, customers purchasing the K3 for $849 will receive four complimentary rolls of Hyper PLA filament." It adds that shipping is free on orders placed through Creality's official online store during that period. The store listing's description also mentions the four free spools and a 3-month replacement guarantee.
Before the price was set, Creality gave two signals. Its July 1, 2026 KliTek™ FAQ said "Final configurations and pricing will be announced before launch." Its K3 FAQ, published September 30, 2026, said "Creality K3 is expected to launch below $900." The $849 price is $51 under that figure.

Creality K3 release date: from "Q3 2026" to a November ship estimate
Creality's dates moved several times. This is the record from its own pages.
- May 29, 2026: a Creality blog post introduced the KliTek™ nozzle changer under the headline "Coming 2026".
- July 1, 2026: Creality's KliTek™ FAQ said "The first model in the Creality K3 Series is planned for launch in Q3 2026", and that "North America and Europe are expected to receive the launch at the same time".
- September 5, 2026: Creality unveiled the K3 at IFA Berlin. The K3 was named an IFA Innovation Awards 2026 Honoree.
- September 30, 2026: Creality's K3 FAQ said "Pre-orders open in mid-October. Stay tuned."
- October 12 to 13, 2026: the launch offer started on October 12, and Creality's press release announcing US pre-orders at $849 is dated October 13.
- November 2: the estimated shipping start shown on the US store listing on October 17, 2026. Other Creality printers on the same store showed October 16 to October 18 in the same field that day, so the November date is specific to the K3 listing.
- December 2026: the press release says "In Europe, the K3 is expected to become available in December 2026."
Two Creality pages had not caught up on October 17, 2026. The K3 campaign page on creality.com still said "Coming Q3 2026" with a Subscribe Now button, two weeks after the third quarter ended on September 30. The K3 FAQ blog, last modified October 13, still described pre-orders as opening "in mid-October" and the price as "below $900".
One more detail shows how Creality itself separates pre-orders from regular sales. The official rules of its September 2026 K3 giveaway, published on the K3 product page, say the prize ships after the K3 becomes available for regular, in-stock purchase on Creality's store, and that a pre-order or other early-access sale does not count as the official on-sale date. As of October 17, 2026, the K3 was in the pre-order stage.
What the K3 is: KliTek™ nozzle changing
The K3 is Creality's new flagship K Series printer. Instead of pushing several filaments through one nozzle and purging between colors, it keeps four filaments loaded in four independent channels and swaps between four nozzle assemblies. Creality says KliTek™ swaps only the nozzle, hotend and filament tube rather than a whole toolhead, and that each nozzle can preheat before it is used.
The K3 ships with four 0.4 mm nozzles, according to Creality's K3 FAQ. Creality sells three add-ons separately: a TPU Kit (four filament dry boxes, a CFS FLX and four high-flow nozzles, for softer TPU), a Top Cover with a HEPA and activated carbon filter, and a Multi-Nozzle Kit for mixing 0.2, 0.6 and 0.8 mm nozzles in one print.

Creality K3 vs Snapmaker U1: official specs side by side
Both printers keep four filaments loaded in four separate nozzles or toolheads to print up to four colors or materials without purging between every change. The difference is what moves: the K3 swaps a nozzle assembly, while the U1 swaps a complete toolhead. The U1 is shipping from Snapmaker's US warehouse; the K3 is on pre-order. We do not test printers, so the table repeats each maker's own figures. More on the U1's price history is in our Snapmaker U1 price and release record.
| Spec | Creality K3 | Snapmaker U1 |
|---|---|---|
| US store price, October 17, 2026 | $849 (pre-order) | $749 (compare-at $999) |

On paper, the U1 has the larger build volume (10 mm more on each axis) and was $100 less on Snapmaker's US store on October 17, 2026; the K3 is the smaller and heavier machine. Other 2026 launches are listed in our 2026 release dates and prices tracker, and Creality's other 2026 multicolor printer is covered in our SPARKX i8 price and release record.
Creality's own figures do not all match
These are Creality's claims, not measured results, and its pages state them differently:
- Nozzle change time: the September 5 press release says "it enables nozzle swaps in just 4.8 seconds"; the October 13 release says the K3 "switches between lightweight nozzle assemblies in approximately 5 seconds"; the spec list says 5 seconds.
- Replacement cost: the campaign page compares a KliTek™ nozzle assembly at about $14 with about $67 for another maker's toolhead, a cost cut of "up to 4.5x"; the October 13 release describes it as "reducing replacement costs by up to one-third compared with complete toolhead replacements". Neither is a store price.
- Launch timing: the July 1 FAQ expected North America and Europe at the same time; the October 13 release puts Europe in December 2026.
- Multi-Nozzle Kit contents: the K3 product page and one answer in the K3 FAQ list 0.2, 0.6 and 0.8 mm nozzle assemblies; another answer in the same FAQ lists 0.2, 0.4, 0.6 and 0.8 mm.
What we could not confirm
- US prices for the TPU Kit, Top Cover, Multi-Nozzle Kit and CFS Hub. None appeared in the US store's product sitemap on October 17, 2026.
- Whether "starting at $849" means other K3 configurations will follow. On October 17, 2026, the US store listing had only one option.
- When a pre-order is charged. We did not place an order; the listing showed no deposit option.
- A date for regular, in-stock sales after the pre-order period, and whether the November 2 estimate applies to every pre-order.
- Prices at other US retailers. We read only Creality's own store and pages.
- A K3 Max, K3 Plus or K3 Pro. Creality's product sitemaps list only the K3.
